Large caucasian kazak wool rug, entirely handmade with traditional geometric patterns on a yellow background. Stylized central medallion, stylized floral border, traditional symbolism. Colors: intense blue, saffron yellow, brick red and ecru touches. Period 1960-1980. Max dimensions with fringes: 238 X 177 cm. Max dimensions without fringes: 231 X 177 cm. Weight: 10, 850 grams. I note wear on the fringes, as well as various small stains. Cleaning will restore its original luster. The last two photos show the reverse of the rug.
