Vintage smooth enamelled ceramic pitcher / carafe from Vallauris – Bi-decor.

A pop and colourful piece with a distinctly mid-century charm! This superb vintage ceramic jug comes from the workshops of Vallauris, an iconic production from the 1960s/1970s. It stands out for its beautiful glazing work, offering a perfectly smooth, vitrified, and glossy finish to the touch. The decoration features a striking visual contrast: a vibrant and luminous fuchsia/magenta applied to the neck, which blends into fine white drips resembling "sea foam" on a very shiny chocolate brown body. Its sculptural silhouette incorporates an elegant handle with an organic design. In excellent condition. No signs of use or cracks. Note: the underside has a small irregularity in shape at the unglazed white heel, a typical manufacturing defect from the artisanal work of the time that attests to its authenticity.
