Serving set, Italian design, 1970s, made in Italy

The elegant serving set was made in the 1970s in Italy. A striking vintage set in a modernist style, combining transparent glass with the mirror-like shine of a chrome frame. The set comprises four glass bowls set in metal holders and a matching tray with organic, flowing lines characteristic of 1960s and 1970s design. The glass, with its gently flaring profile, plays beautifully with the light, whilst the shiny metal surface lends the whole an air of elegance and ‘lounge’ chic. The perfect set for serving desserts, ice cream, fruit, snacks or small appetisers – and also as a decorative centrepiece for a mid-century modern table.
