Rand McNally Globe, 1914-1924

The globes of this chicago-based manufacturer were quickly renowned for their precision and elegance. So much so that even the white house acquired a very beautiful and very large globe rand mcnally! Every detail is perfectly readable and the details regularly updated according to geopolitical news, a boon for antique dealers who can more certainly date these superb pieces. Thus, from 1914 st. Petersburg became leningrad until 1924, detail appearing on our globe and allowing to date precisely from this period. The horizon ring presents, in addition to the usual measurements, the constellations of the zodiac written in latin.
