Terrine Michel Caugant scallops

Magnificent earthenware terrine signed by Michel Caugant, an emblematic figure of table art and fine charcuterie from the 70s/80s. Made in Portugal, this iconic piece in the shape of a bivalve scallop is entirely hand-painted in natural shades of brown and cream, typical of the brand's artisanal productions. In very good condition, it is free from chips, cracks, or scratches, with a perfect fit of the two parts. Only slight crazing of the glaze is noted on the inside, along with a few original firing marks, attesting to its authenticity and artisanal craftsmanship. 18 cm wide. 17 cm deep. 5 cm high.
