French 19th c overmantel mirror

Elegant large scale 19th century gold gilt overmantel mirror with a lovely crest, etched stripes on its golden frame and beaded inner border. A beautiful antique mirror that originates from france, circa 1860. The mirror frame is structurally healthy. The mirror contains its original mirror plate and back cladding and the gold leaf gilding is in a very good condition. The mirror glass itself is in a good state. It has a few small spots, part of its charm. Condition: wear is consistent with age and use. Overall good condition, with usual wear, scratches, minor losses to gilding and (very) small weathered spots in the glass.
