Low Chairs by Dom Hans van der Laan, 1960s

An exceptionally rare pair of chairs. An early design and production by the dutch monk dom hans van der laan. Low chairs like these are possibly the rarest of all of the furniture that has ever appeared on the market, and these chairs are in exceptional condition. The low backs of these chairs in particular lend the design much more readily for use in a private setting (although they were originally intended for an ecclesiastical setting). Superb condition. Slight fading below where the cushions sit (as would be expected).
