Dutch Originals is the Dutch design brand that reissues and produces Wim Rietveld's iconic furniture designs as part of the Gispen Classics collection. A reissue of a design classic: although the Model 535 "Mug" (or "Mosquito") coffee table was originally introduced by the Gispen company in 1953, Dutch Originals ensures—through its Classics line—that these historic designs are carefully documented, managed, and preserved for contemporary interiors. The collection is overseen by art director Richard Hutten. This is a vintage item. This means it has been used. Items are not new or perfect, but they are very beautiful! Most vintage items show signs of use. The extent of these signs of use is stated in the description. Photos are part of this description, so please examine them carefully. Vintage (i.e., used) items sometimes exhibit color variations, uneven wear, and/or normal wear and tear. Please keep this in mind when making a purchase.
