Description
Brutalist diabolo vase by joël baudoin, shot in durtal during the 60s. Very beautiful and atypical piece of artisanal ceramics, very heavy. A grey tense enamel reminiscent of jean besnard's blankets partially covers an engobe terracotta, by flats or thick droplets. In places the blue appears below the gray. It is in very good condition, note a small shine at the neck (defect of pre-enamelling cooking because there is a little enamel in this lack), another shine under the vase, invisible once laid. These defects are visible in the photos. Height: 17 cm, base diameter: 10.5 cm, neck diameter: 9.5 cm. Weight: 1kg.
