Japanese tea set satsuma model 'maruni' early twentieth century consisting of 12 tea cups, 11 saucers, 1 sugar bowl, 1 large teapot, 1 small teapot. Hand painting, gilding. Very good condition (no cracks or chips). Size of the large teapot: high. 22 cm, from the hanse to the end of the beak: 23.5 cm. Sugar bowl: high. 18 cm diam. 15.5 cm. Cup: diam. 9 cm high. 5 cm, saucer: diam 14 cm. Made in japan in the 1920s-30s.
