Designed like a tree, built like a sculpture. Discover this sculptural tree-shaped candelabrum in bronze, anchored in the golden glow of the 1950s–60s, featuring five candle-holding branches. Cast in solid bronze (meaning wonderfully heavy and reassuringly sturdy), this object balances art and function with the confidence of a design classic. Its textured surface beautifully captures light, and its warm patina in golden tones brings all the charm of well-lived decades. A touch of Harjes magic. Although unsigned, the piece exhibits all the characteristics of Michael Harjes (1926–2006) and the famous Harjes Metallkunst workshop, founded in 1912 in Germany. Their sculptural bronze creations often played with plant-like forms—abstract, rhythmic, and full of movement—much like this piece. While we cannot claim attribution with absolute certainty, the resemblance is striking enough to make any mid-century enthusiast smile. This candlestick is a stunning centerpiece for a dining table, a poetic silhouette on a fireplace, or the perfect gift of "I didn't know I needed this, but now I can't live without it." In excellent vintage condition—ready for another half-century of bright companionship. Note: it prefers slightly thinner candles than standard ones.
