Special vintage design pendant lamp, a design by e.j.jelles for raak holland amsterdam. Period: 1972. Also called a compass, it resembles a ship's compass. The special feature of this lamp is that it can be rotated 180 degrees. The lamp can change from an uplight to a downlight. One side provides bright reading light and the other side emits atmospheric light through the narrow holes in the metal. Material: aluminum in combination with acrylic plastic/perspex... One large e27 bulb needed.
