Fish service Digoin Sarreguemines

Beautiful fish service consisting of 12 plates, 1 large dish and 1 vintage sauce boat, in the shape of a fish. They were made by the famous French earthenware maker Digoin & Sarreguemines, and their stamp on the back dates them to between 1920 and 1950, most likely the 1930s due to their art deco design. The earthenware is ivory-cream in the center with a gradient of pink and gray around the edge. The edges of the plates and the dish are slightly ribbed. All pieces are stamped. The dish is missing and has multiple chips all around, traces of patina inside. The sauce boat has 2 tasks under the glaze. The plates have manufacturing defects, but no chips. The dish was clearly used more than the rest of the service. Dish: 54x26cm. Sauce boat 24x8cm. Plates 27cm. Total weight: 8kg.
