Italian birdseye maple Zevi console 1970s

Italian Console. This beautiful vintage table by Zevi dates back to the 1970s and was made in Italy. The brass inlay around the top has a lovely vintage character-giving patina that only age brings and the birdseye maple is in very good condition. Brass and maple is particularly pleasing combination that adds to the quality of the design. Each corner is detailed so the console can be freestanding in a room as it does not have back side. The Zevi company, a furniture manufacturer based in Remanzacco, Italy, is known for its Modernist pieces intended for domestic use. It combines quality and luxury materials (metals) with superior Italian craftsmanship, and its products were sold in high-end shops and department stores such as Harrods. Ideal as a hall table, console table or a singe/twin desk. Dimensions (cm): 46 D x 77 H x 150 W. Condition: In good vintage condition. The brass is showing good patina and the maple is in very good condition.
