Large vintage decorative bowl in glazed ceramic, characterised by a free, organic shape with generous movement. Its centre, treated in a bright primary yellow, forms a radiant shape reminiscent of the sun. It is surrounded by a delicate speckled gradient that gradually transitions to a very deep glaze, oscillating between brown and black. In the light, the dark surface reveals subtle iridescent reflections, almost rainbow-like, which give the piece remarkable depth. Its thick raised rim, asymmetrical lines, and sculptural aesthetic evoke the formal explorations of French ceramics from the 1950s-1960s, particularly the works of Pol Chambost, Georges Jouve, or Elchinger. This comparison is stylistic: no certain attribution is made. This bowl can be displayed alone as a true decorative sculpture or used as a centrepiece, fruit bowl, or large catch-all. Dimensions: Length: 34 cm Width: 22 cm Maximum height: 10 cm Condition: Very good vintage condition. No cracks, no missing pieces, and no significant chips. Some light signs of use and fine scratches in the base, consistent with the age of the piece. A solar, graphic, and unique ceramic, capable of integrating into both vintage interiors and contemporary decor.
