Louis XV style wardrobe - Transition

Louis XV style cabinet - transition in precious wood veneer, rosewood, mahogany, rosewood, with slightly curved front and sides. It has two large front doors with original locks and keys. On the concave sides, we find a frieze with a rosewood surround around the edge. Marquetry with geometric decoration and contrasting reserves. It rests on four curved rosewood legs ending in bronze sabots. Ornamentation of gilded bronzes, falling corners, each face is decorated with openwork volutes. High quality carving work bringing out the mattes and shines. Inside we discover eight solid oak shelves (like the chassis) as well as two drawers with bronze pull handles. This rare cabinet with fine marquetry is characterized by its refinement and elegance. In perfect condition - satin varnish finish. 20th century period. Cabinetmaker françois daïdé.
