Pair of English oak armchairs with ladder back and rush seats

These two English oak armchairs have a classic ladder back, finely turned (bobbin) spindles and hand-woven rush seats. The crafted design goes back to centuries-old English country furniture traditions and was executed in solid oak in the 1970s. If desired, the seats can be rewoven. The warm oak and natural rush seats give these sturdily built chairs a true country character. An atmospheric addition to a dining room or study, or as a pair of armchairs by the fireplace in a country or English cottage interior. Condition: good, with signs of use; reweaving of the seats is possible.
