Hallway Armchair 403 by Alvar Aalto for Artek

Armchair 403 “hallway” is a stackable chair originally designed for the paimio sanatorium in finland in 1932. Finished with a clear lacquer, the armchair’s frame and seat are formed from pressed birch veneer. Armchair 403 maintains a sturdy simplicity and features attractive finger-joint detailing on the armrests. In very good condition with light user marks. No longer in production. Width: 52 cm. Depth: 60 cm. Height: 81 cm. Seat height: 39.5 cm.
