A beautiful and timeless vintage studio porcelain bowl, handmade by the renowned Danish ceramicist Poul Erik Eliasen in his own workshop near Tranekær on Langeland, Denmark, in the 1980s. This exquisite piece features a minimalist Nordic design and is coated with a beautiful, delicate mint-green crackle celadon glaze with incredible depth and a subtle texture. The contrast between the vibrant green glaze and the clean, unglazed white porcelain base is a true hallmark of his work. A perfect addition to the collection of serious collectors of Scandinavian modern ceramics or as an eye-catching piece in a contemporary home. Artist/maker: Poul Erik Eliasen (Tranekær, Denmark) PE Material: Fine porcelain. Glaze: Glossy, crackled celadon green. Diameter: 17.5 cm. Height: 6.5 cm. Weight: 550 grams. Hand-signed with the artist’s official incised monogram ‘PE’ on the unglazed base. Excellent vintage condition. The glaze is clear and glossy, with no chips, cracks, hairline fractures or repairs. In lovely condition. Please see the last two photos: there is a tiny glaze bubble in the centre of the bowl. It is so small that it is almost invisible, but you can feel it with your finger. Will be securely packed and sent with insurance.
