Stunning mid century modern crystal glass bowl from the "stella polaris" series designed by vicke lindstrand for orrefors (sweden, 1950s/1960s). Made of thick and heavy icy/light blue/clear glass. Beautiful scandinavian minimalist design. Perfectly works as a small bowl, a vide poche/catch-all or even as an ashtray. Very decorative item. Signed (etched) at the bottom "orrefors". Diameter: 16 cm; height: 6.5 cm; weight: 1.2 kg. Excellent vintage condition. No chips, no cracks. Light wear consistent with age and use (usual scratches).
