Tjerk reijenga coat rack for pilastro. The 'servo muto' or "tone ladder" coat rack, was designed by tjerk reijenga for the dutch manufacter pilastro in 1960. The coat rack features a black painted metal and 12 colorful hooks in white, black, yellow, and red. This large vertical version includes a hat rack and a umbrella stand. The coatrack is in good original condition. It is lovely to see how it combines a playful and colorfull 1950s design with practical elements like an umbrella holder and perforated steel parcel shelf.
