Discover the timeless refinement of this empire style coffee or tea service, magnificently made in silver metal. Marked "rm" for roux-marquiand, this set embodies classic elegance. The coffee maker stands nobly at 30 cm high by 21 cm wide, while the sugar bowl and the milk jug add their distinctive touch with respective dimensions of 18 cm X 17 cm, 13 cm X 14 cm, together, weighing 2374 grams, combines finesse and presence. Antique silver metal coffee service in empire style. The set was made after the first world war, in the period 1918-1925, by the french goldsmith roux marquiand. All pieces are beautifully decorated with garlands, bows and floral details. The spout represents a bird's head. The coffee maker has ivory slices on the handle, which gives a charming visual. The 3 pieces are marked on the bottom with [rm] for roux marquiand, lyon. This goldsmith began his work in 1876 and quickly grew into a company of around 100 employees. After world war i, the emphasis was on neoclassical designs, but after 1920 the company focused on the art deco style, which then became fashionable. The company has supplied many prestigious french addresses, the bourgeoisie and the government. Around 1960, she created silverware for hermès. Everything is in very good condition will be packaged and sent with care.
