Mcintosh sideboard - Eden model - 1960

Sideboard - mcintosh - "eden" model - 1960s this magnificent mid-century sideboard was designed by tom robertson for mcintosh of kirkcaldy in scotland. A classic mid-century design, sculptural with stunning lines, the solid handles are beautifully styled and very elegant. This functional piece offers a large double cupboard, with fitted shelves, a fitted cutlery drawer and two further drawers. All drawers move well, cabinet hinges also work well, room has been very well maintained. Created in 1869 by alexander henry mcintosh, mcintosh furniture has become synonymous with design, craftsmanship and high quality materials. This model presented here is particularly rare. Dimensions: l 175 X d 45 X h 82 materials: teak proof of attribution: label inside the cabinet in the 2nd drawer (see photos).
