Set of 8 art deco glass champagne cups 1930. Glassware from the st mesmin chapel. Geometric feet with gold edging. Stamped made in france under each cup. Short history: founded in 1927 by the dessaux family for the manufacture of vinegar bottles, the glassworks was sold in 1931 to the famous perfumer and industrialist françois coty (1874-1934). After enormous investments, the enlarged, modernized and renamed glassworks "société des verreries de la chapelle-saint-mesmin" will mainly manufacture perfume bottles and on the sidelines "gobletware", namely glassware for the table (glasses, carafes) until its sale after 1934, to the future duralex group. In perfect condition: a few places where the gilding is partially erased but very little visible to the naked eye. The photos are an integral part of the description. Has 2 sets of 8. Sold in sets of 8. Dimensions: diameter: 8.5cm. Height: 4.5cm. Weight: 791gr.
