Bronze SNCF plaque

Magnificent copper plaque (at least I think) from the state railways. It was visibly affixed to “equipment and traction”. After a little research I can tell you that the state railway company was created in 1878 and lasted until 1937 when the sncf was created. So we can date my pretty little plaque between 1878 and 1938 🤗 not bad, right. It is heavy and in superb condition 👌 another rare and unusual decorative object. 📐 15 X 10cm.
