Wooden glass cabinet with blue patina. Vintage furniture in old patinated teak. Large library showcase in patinated wood and blue laqué, resting on four feet, and finished with a flat ledge. It opens in the upper part by two glass panels thus divided into four, and in the lower part by two glass doors, with metal draw handles. The interior is lined with planks, serving as shelves. This type of furniture, which seems both timeless and international, of a solid and practical production, derives from european, medieval and auvergne style. Indeed, this piece of dishwashing furniture, clothes, jams or other, pantry or paperband takes up the architecture of the famous wardrobe of aubasine (corréze), made up of planks and ais, gathered here by studs and mortaises and tangled. From the trunk, horizontal structure, the only known of antiquity, we have moved to a vertical structure, more functional. We find this furniture, more or less worked, more or less enriched with decorations, painted or sculpted, in all parts of the world, where it plays in families a pole of attraction and mystery, where we still tighten treasures... The old teak is an extremely dense wood with exceptional weather resistance.
