Mezzoracolo lamp by Gae Aulenti for Artemide 1970

Mezzoracolo table lamp of the publisher Artemide dating from the end of 1968/1969. Design by Gae Aulenti. Main cylinder in brown lacquered metal with a hammered look, a second cylinder in perforated metal hides a light composed of 2 bulbs. Main lighting hidden under a 45 cm diameter opal glass globe. The switch can activate the 2 lighting systems separately. Total height of 67 cm. The whole lamp is in its original state only the electrical system has been replaced. The lacquered metal is slightly patinated by time and use.
