Antique Art Nouveau vase in frosted enamelled glass – iris decoration

Very pretty antique vase in satin or frosted white glass, adorned with an elegant floral decoration representing irises. The flowers and foliage, painted in delicate shades of brown, grey, and mauve, are done in enamel and have a slight relief that is perceptible to the touch. The neck, beautifully cut and faceted, is highlighted with a metallic thread that adds a lot of refinement to the whole piece. A lovely decorative item in the Art Nouveau style, probably made in the early 20th century. Its aesthetic recalls certain old French glassworks, notably the productions of Legras or Montjoye, but the vase does not bear a signature allowing for certain attribution. There is a painted number "19" under the base. A particularly elegant piece, ideal for an antique, romantic, Art Nouveau, or curiosity cabinet decoration. Very good overall condition for its age. There is a small defect or slight dent at the lower part, visible in the photographs, with no leaks and no impact on use. Some wear to the metallic thread at the neck. Dimensions: Height: 22 cm.
