Six blue & white plates Gien, Villeroy & Boch, Sarreguemines, W.Adams (Tunstall) and K&G Luneville

Blue & white set of 6 old french, german and english flat plates in fine earthenware: gien "rouen", villeroy & boch "burgenland", sarreguemines "romantic", w. Adams & co. (tunstall) "blue willow", keller & guérin lunéville "english" and one with an unidentified signature depicting a bird reminiscent of the vieux moustiers decorations. The oldest date from around 1900 (gien and adams), the others are in the 1960s (villeroy & boch, kg luneville) and the 1980s (sarreguemines). Similar in shape (hectic border and relief), they form a harmonious ensemble whose decorations in blue shade evoke nature: abundant flowers, plants, birds and pastoral scenes. All are in very good condition (no accident, few traces of use): we note on the plate of gien two superficial scratches on the edge and a small scratch of use in the center, on the plate of w. Adams some traces of use which remain discreet, on the plate k&g lunéville a small defect without incidence in the molding on the reverse (see detail photos). Dare the harmony of the mismatched!
