Covered candy jar signed M Malicorne, Moustiers decor

This small vintage earthenware covered pot or candy box has the "m malicorne" (handmade) inscription on its base. Its polychrome Moustiers-style decoration alternates large birds, climbing flowers, and a slightly baroque costumed character. The knob and handles are decorated with yellow and green brushstrokes, and the edges are highlighted with three green lines. Good vintage condition, just micro-chips from use under the rim of the lid. Dimensions: height 17 cm and diameter 14 cm.
