Large onyx stone egg on base

Rare large stone egg. Polished onyx stone in flattened ovoid shape at the base. Matching wooden base. The reflections of onyx are variable and in all tones, from beige to red brown through gray. A natural line on the side. Very good condition; two mini snags found, very little visible and probably in the original stone. Stone renowned for its soothing effect. Heavy and stable object, with or even without the base. Dimensions 12 cm high and 10 cm in diameter at the widest; base 7 cm X 7 cm.
