Pair dishes hollow ceramic fruit Italy Due Torri

This pair of hollow dishes, ceramics with fruit shape of square shape and beveled, comes from a collection years 1970-80 of the italian brand due torri. The glazed ensemble is charming with its hand-painted motifs in the natural history board style: peaches and pears on their flowering or sliced branches, details of the stones or buds. The outline of each room is dressed with a pretty marbled green frieze, as if on the stamp, one of the signatures of the house. Originally for fruits, they can also be diverted into colored and vitaminized pocket trays! Good vintage condition, except one or two frictions of use, little visible because at the level of the marbled contours, or under the base of one of them (see photos). Dimensions: 21.5x21.5, height 5 cm.
