Bistrot chair Japy brothers

Superb bistro chair from the beginning of the 20th century. Manufacturing and distribution history preserved ! The structure was manufactured in france by japy frères companies at the beginning of the 20th century. Part of the manufacturing label under the seat (on the structure) The seat at when was manufactured by luterma companies specializing in plywood (especially in wooden chair seats) The seat bears the brand's first stamp and was manufactured in estonia. (before 1940) Manufacturing number present. This chair was then distributed in france (in the stéphanoise region) by l.buchon (distributor of supplies for cafés - hotels- villas) Metal plate of the dispenser on the back of the chair. This superb chair served in coffees - bistrot until the 90s. Rare to find having kept all labels, stamps, manufacturing plates and distribution. Very nice condition for its age and its use in bistro. The seat is decorated with arabic and a griffin. (in relief in the wood). It has of course kept some marks of time (small lack of wood on the contour of the seat, patina of varnish) but that's what makes it charming and guarantees its authenticity.
