Seven Office Chair by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, Denmark, 1960s

A rare 1960s office version of Arne Jacobsen’s iconic Series 7 chair for Fritz Hansen. Unlike the classic dining version seen everywhere, this early model comes with its original wheeled base, making it a much more unusual and collectible piece. Recently restored with new black leather upholstery and new filling, the chair combines the character of an original 1960s design with the comfort and clean appearance needed for everyday use. Elegant, compact and instantly recognisable – a true Danish design classic that works just as beautifully at a desk as it does as a statement piece in an interior. The original vintage base shows its age and history. Please note that the round cap underneath the seat was lost during restoration and is missing.
