Armchairs and footrests by Charles & Ray Eames

Pair of "Lounge Chair" armchairs by Charles and Ray Eames – Herman Miller edition (70s). These armchairs, inherited, are a Herman Miller edition distributed in France by Mobilier International in the 70s. They are part of the first editions that were still made with a shell of Rio rosewood (or jacaranda), a species whose use was later banned. Features: Upholstery: Premium brown leather. Base: Polished and blackened aluminium, with 5 branches. Structure: Removable dacron cushions. Condition: Both armchairs show general signs of wear related to their age. One of the armchairs is torn at the seat cushion, and the second also has a small tear (see photos).
