I offer you this small candlestick, also called a "cellar rat", in brass and porcelain dating from around 1890. The beribboned frame is decorated with a multitude of five-pointed stars in relief. Note that the threaded screw that holds the assembly together is not original; the original screw was lost during the restoration of the object. The golden streak has faded around the outline of the shell (see photos). The porcelain shell is very delicate and reflects the light through transparency (see photo). Two types of photographs were taken (in the studio on a white background and in indoor lighting on a dark gray background) in order to offer you a more realistic vision of this fabulous object. Dimensions: height: 8.5 cm width: 13 cm weight: 207 grams remarks: the beribboned frame is gold, but has a slight orange reflection, unlike the cap to insert the candle, which is a pure gold tending towards the yellow. The preparation for sending will be carried out in a very protective and careful manner. Sincerely.
