René Vincent, also known under the pseudonym Rageot, is a French painter, watercolorist, designer and poster artist born March 4, 1879 in Bordeaux and died September 13, 1936 in Sarzeau. Training at the Paris School of Fine Arts. Illustrator in several magazines of the 19th and 20th centuries (illustration, readings for all, Parisian life or laughter), he is also the author of numerous advertising posters intended, for example, for large Parisian stores (the good market), to car manufacturers (peugeot, bugatti, lincoln), and to cigarette brands (gitanes, balto, celtiques). He also participated in the creation of an album for the Evian-Cachat source (Evian water).
