Pair of french leather club chairs, 'chapeau du gendarme' models 1930

This is a fabulous pair of 'chapeau du gendarme' models in deep caramel. The leather is exquisite, the original caramel colour has aged perfectly and after cleaning and nourishment has now rewarded the eye with the warmest, richest of patinas. There are no rips or damage to the chairs and all the necessary spring-work has been completed. These are a superb example of a very rare and desirable pair of original french leather club chairs.
