Set of two vintage botany boards, presented in cracked golden frames. First plate presents a "melastoma amygdalina", the second a "melastoma pendulifolia". Inscription "turpin pinx" and "poiteau pinx" at the bottom left (provenance of the drawings), "bouquet sculp." at the bottom right, as well as "plate 33" and "plate 36" at the top right of both articles. "impression par l'imprimerie de langlois" inscribed under the specimens. Very good general condition of the boards, despite some red spots on paper: undeniably vintage! Perfect framing, the boards are ready to be installed. Format: 33cm wide X 50cm high. Each frame weighs about 1.25kg. Fast and neat shipping.
