Office folding "klappauf" 1897

A folding table in oak with metal parts for the folding mechanism. The room has a label "Klappauf" brass with a record for the SRD (German Reichsparteent), 1897. Once folded, the room looks like a normal side table. When the table is opened, a Secretary complete with pockets for letters, papers and writing utensils and a make-up mirror takes place. Width: 70 cm. Depth: 55.5 cm. Height: 79 cm. Condition: good with signs of use and age-appropriate. The folding mechanism must be handled carefully in all cases, but it is so functional.
