This object, originally intended to hold wine during folk festivals, weddings, funerals, etc., is now a true symbol of Hungarian folk art. Made of glazed earthenware and slip, it depicts a hussar soldier at attention, wearing a hat that serves as a spout, with military and floral decorations, a stylised costume with slip buttons, and a serpent on the handle symbolising longevity and health.
