Amoeba highback lounge chair by Verner Panton for Vitra

Verner pantons developed the amoeba chair for the famous visiona-exhibition in several versions. This is the highback version which leads the backrest above the head and enfolds as a canopy over the sitting. This communicates comfort and safety and gives a feeling of retreat.
