For millennia, peoples have succeeded one another in anatolia and each has brought a particular style to the ancestral tradition of the weaving craft: hittites, phrygians, romans, byzantines, seljuks and ottomans. They occupied and transformed the region by enriching its history and culture, especially in carpet making (one of the oldest crafts in anatolia). For the turkish people, carpets are much more than ordinary floor coverings and have been widely used, for example as a separation from space in a nomadic tent or as a bride's dowry. This massive production has resulted in an abundance of stock throughout turkey. It is with an eco-responsible objective that our craftsmen have decided to give a second life to these old carpets. How are they made. After being selected throughout anatolia, wool carpets between 20 and 50 years old are first thoroughly cleaned and then carefully cut by our craftsmen. The most beautiful pieces are assembled to form an exclusive creation. The carpet is then colored thanks to an environmentally friendly process using a dye this complex play of shades of colors allows us to perceive the patterns of the original carpet and thus let us imagine its history.
