Neoclassical enfilade Maurice Hirsch

Elegant sideboard / buffet stamped M. Hirsch, attributed to the French decorator Maurice Hirsch, known for his high-quality neoclassical furniture and notably for his collaborations with Maison Jansen. A very fine piece made of mahogany and mahogany veneer, highlighted with inlays and ornaments in gilded brass. It features two drawers and two doors on the front and rests on four tapered legs decorated with fluting and brass rings. The piece is topped with a superb white marble top, with rounded corners, in excellent condition. A particularly elegant item, typical of the French neoclassical taste of the mid-20th century, which works well in both a classic interior and a more contemporary decor. Stamp: M. Hirsch.
