Set of 6 Dordogne Sentou chairs

Six "Dordogne" model chairs from the 1950s designed by Robert Sentou These chairs were made by the manufacturer Robert Sentou in the 1950s in France. They are composed of an ash log frame, a seat and backrest made of woven rye straw. An unrivaled assembly quality, a guarantee of quality from the manufacturer, known for the edition of furniture by French designer Charlotte Perriand. They belonged to my father and were stored and protected in a dry attic, hence their very good condition for their age. Two chairs have accidents on the underside, but this does not change the structure of the straw or the appearance of the seat (see photo). Note a slight play in the assemblies of 3 of the 6 chairs.
