Magnificent set of three chairs model "6157" created by the famous French designer Roger Landault (René Gabriel Prize 1955) for the Bouvier house. This model is an essential of 1950s design, perfectly illustrating the modernity of the French Reconstruction. Their lines are airy and dynamic with a "compass" base in solid oak and moulded plywood backs. The uniqueness of this lot lies in its original primary colours (green, yellow, red) in moleskin, offering a superb contrast with the light wood. Condition. • General: Very good condition for pieces over 70 years old. • Structure: Stable. It should be noted that one chair has an old crack at the backrest post (see detail photo), which has been stabilised and does not weaken the seat. • Upholstery: Original moleskin. Some scratches and signs of use on the seats (notably the yellow and red), but no tears. An authentic patina!.
