Vintage glass bubble photophore in pale amethyst, Biot style, 1970-1980.

Beautiful blown glass candle holder, abundantly bubbled, in the style of Biot. Vintage from the 1970s-1980s. Delicate pale amethyst hue. The bowl, generously rounded then tapered before flaring at the neck, rests on an elegant foot. Body is heavily bubbled. Cylindrical housing in the centre accommodates a candle of approximately 2.5cm in diameter. 19cm high and about 12cm in maximum diameter. Perfect condition, without chips or cracks. Weighs approximately 350-400g.
