Armchair Louis XV

This armchair was created by a craftsman using the Louis XV style as revisited under Napoleon III. We can see that it was carved by hand by its irregular lines and visible scissor strokes. It has been restored with horsehair in a traditional way, taking up the spring filling popular in Napoleon III and a wide bourlet giving it the desired shape in Louis XV. The floral fabric is also inspired by the Louis XV period.
