Opulent chandelier by Paolo Venini for Vivarini, 1970s

Opulent chandelier/ceiling lamp by Paolo Venini for Vivarini, made of Murano glass/prism glass, Italy, 1970s. This custom-made, rare example consists of approximately 400 glass prisms and features a hexagonal construction handcrafted from metal and Murano glass: 120 large transparent glasses, 108 small dark brown glasses, and 169 small transparent glasses. One glass element is hand-signed and dated: 'Vivarini 74'. The total weight is approximately 120 kg. Dimensions are approximately: height 30-75 cm, width 100 cm, depth 100 cm. The condition is very good with minor signs of age and use. The piece is marked and was produced in Italy in 1974.
