Nineteenth mail tray rocaille style

2728 - unhallmarked, this lovely mail tray probably in silver metal rocaille style of the nineteenth century in good condition. Not bumpy, no obvious trace of silvering, just with some micro-scratches of normal use attesting to its age. It is rectangular in shape with pretty carvings with beautiful shells in the corners and a worked rim. Reacts positively to the touchstone (photo). Ideal also for a festive event.
